Use reports, exports and scheduled reports
Build project readouts, review workspace performance and schedule summaries.
Reports serves two levels. A project report keeps selection evidence and delivery outcomes together. Workspace Reports aggregates portfolio activity, pipeline, value and decision performance. Exports and schedules package those views for the audience that needs them.
Before you start
• Check that the underlying evaluations, decision, contract and outcomes are current; reports reproduce recorded data rather than repairing it.
• Confirm recipients are permitted to see the project or workspace information before exporting or scheduling delivery.
Step by step
1. Review a project report
Open Project → Reports to review selection evidence, surveys, scorecard and Determine outcomes. Use it to trace a conclusion back to project-level evidence before sharing a summary.
2. Choose the right project output
Use Export CSV for comparison data, Board deck for a presentation file or Business case for the polished read-only case. The business-case report also offers its supported print, PDF, Word and slide outputs.
3. Open the workspace portfolio view
Go to Reports for active and completed projects, vendor and survey totals, value realisation and recent activity. Use the 30-day activity drill-down to understand the events behind the headline.
4. Interpret operating analytics
Review pipeline, category distribution, decision velocity and per-project score details together. A short cycle or high score is context, not proof of decision quality, especially where evidence is incomplete.
5. Create a scheduled summary
Workspace admins can add a schedule, choose weekly or monthly and enter comma-separated recipient emails. Scheduled summaries send at approximately 07:00 on their cadence; review the calculated next run before relying on it.
6. Maintain delivery
Pause or reactivate a schedule as the audience changes, and delete it when the recurring need ends. Recheck recipients after team, supplier or governance changes instead of allowing an old distribution list to persist.
What happens next
• Use the project source pages to correct data, then regenerate the export or wait for the next scheduled run.
• Store downloaded governance materials according to your organisation’s retention and access policy.
Troubleshooting
Scheduled reports are not visible
Only workspace admins can manage schedules. Confirm your active workspace and role, then look at the scheduled-report section on Workspace Reports.
An export omits a recent change
Confirm the source action was saved or submitted, refresh the report and generate a new file. Previously downloaded files are snapshots and do not update.
A recipient did not receive a schedule
Check that the schedule is active, the address is present, the next run has passed and the message was not filtered. Correct the list and use an on-demand export if delivery is urgent.
