Analyse responses and export results

Explore survey answers, review AI-assisted themes and produce individual or aggregate outputs.

Survey analysis combines a response explorer, report views, AI-assisted summaries where enabled and exports. Start with completeness and question-level evidence before relying on an aggregate theme. Use individual reports for one respondent’s submitted record, aggregate reports for patterns and exports when authorised analysis must continue outside Disqovr.

Before you start

• Confirm the survey scope, response count, version history and whether incomplete or test responses should be included.

• Follow access and data-handling policy before exporting personal or sensitive answers.

Step by step

1. Check collection status

Open the survey detail and review invitations, completions and the current open or closed state. Identify test, partial or duplicate-looking records before interpreting totals.

2. Use the response explorer

Open the explorer to filter responses and inspect question-level distributions and free text. Keep version differences in mind when answer choices or wording changed.

3. Review the report

Use the report view for the configured narrative and charts. Trace important findings back to the underlying question and response count rather than quoting a chart without context.

4. Use AI analysis as a draft

Where enabled, ask the survey analysis for themes or a summary, then compare every material claim with responses. AI can miss minority views, sarcasm or version context.

5. Open individual response reports

Choose a response when you need one respondent’s full submitted record. Respect anonymity settings and do not infer an identity from content without valid evidence.

6. Export the right format

Use CSV or XLSX for authorised structured analysis and PDF for a readable report where offered. Record filters and export time so colleagues can reproduce the scope.

Exports leave Disqovr’s in-app access controls. Store and share them only in approved locations.

What happens next

• Summarise the decision implication, evidence base and important minority or incomplete responses.

• Close or keep the survey open according to the collection plan; exporting does not lock the data set.

Troubleshooting

Report totals differ from invitation counts

Invitations and responses are different units, especially when a share link is enabled. Check filters, completion state and survey version.

An AI summary makes an unsupported claim

Treat it as a draft, inspect the underlying responses and remove or qualify any statement that the evidence does not support.

An export looks empty or incomplete

Clear unintended filters, confirm responses exist and choose the aggregate or individual export that matches the task.
