Review workspace and personal activity
Distinguish the workspace event feed from your own tasks, mentions and assignments.
Activity has two useful scopes. Workspace Activity is a recent chronology across accessible work; personal Activity focuses on open tasks and notifications directed to you. Neither replaces the current source record or the administrator audit log.
Before you start
• You must be signed into the correct workspace.
• Events and personal items are filtered by the access associated with your account.
Step by step
1. Open workspace Activity
Use the dashboard activity chart or navigate to Activity. The feed shows recent project, vendor, RFI, sign-off and team events newest first.
2. Filter a dashboard day
Selecting a day from the dashboard trend can open Activity with that date filter. Remove the date chip or select View all activity to return to the complete recent feed.
3. Read the event, then open its source
Use the label, actor, relative time and any recorded reason to understand what happened. Visit the source project or record when you need its current state.
4. Open personal Activity
Go to My Activity at /activity/me for My tasks and Mentions & assignments. This is the queue for work directed specifically to you.
5. Complete tasks deliberately
Read the task and project context, complete the work at its source, then use the task checkbox. Completed tasks leave the open list.
6. Use the audit log when required
Workspace admins can open Settings and Audit log for the append-only compliance view and more detailed administrative evidence. Ordinary Activity is the operational feed.
What happens next
• Resolve overdue tasks from the source project.
• Use notification preferences to control which personal events also generate email.
Troubleshooting
The selected date shows no events.
Remove the date chip to verify that activity exists on other days. Dashboard charts and the feed may use different visible ranges, and access changes can affect what you can now see.
A completed action is still in My tasks.
Completing the underlying project work may not automatically close a discussion task. Return to My tasks and select its checkbox, or ask the task author to update it.
The activity feed does not provide enough audit detail.
Activity is designed for operational awareness and shows a recent subset. Ask a workspace admin to use Settings → Audit log for the compliance ledger.
